Dear DMS Families,

As we begin a new school year at Duluth Middle School, our theme is Focus Forward. It is our call to look ahead with purpose, embrace new opportunities, and commit to the growth and success of every student.

World-renowned educator and TED Talk speaker Dr. Rita Pierson once said,“Every kid needs a champion.” At Duluth Middle School, we believe every student deserves adults who believe in them and challenge them to reach their fullest potential.

Our commitment to your child is simple and unwavering: we will set high expectations, build strong relationships, and provide excellent teaching every day. We know that students thrive when they feel connected and inspired to learn. This belief guides everything we do.
