Accelerated Programs
Our accelerated programming at Duluth Middle School is designed to better prepare our students for high school and beyond. Beginning in Fall 2025, all students will have the opportunity to participate in accelerated programs that challenge them and help build critical skills for their future success. Our accelerated programs at DMS offer several key benefits for our students:
- Academic Growth: Students will engage with more complex material, enhancing their creative and critical thinking skills.
- Increased Engagement: Challenging coursework keeps students motivated and excited about learning.
- College and Career Readiness: Early exposure to advanced topics will help students build a strong foundation for high school and beyond.
- Confidence: Tackling more challenging work successfully boosts students’ self-assurance.
At DMS, we continue to prioritize opportunity and access, ensuring every student has the chance to succeed at the highest level, empowering them to become champions of their own futures. We are committed to supporting them every step of the way, helping them rise to their fullest potential.
We invite you to join us for Accelerated Night on Thursday, March 27th at 6 PM in the cafeteria. This event will provide more details about our accelerated offerings and how they can guide our students toward their future college and career pathways.
