PBIS
What is PBIS?
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an approach we use to promote school safety and good behavior. With PBIS, you learn behavior expectations and strategies. The focus of PBIS is prevention, not punishment.
Duluth Middle School’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program is a key initiative aimed at creating a positive and supportive school environment. Central to our PBIS program is the C.A.T.S. mantra, which stands for Character, Achievement, Teamwork, and Pride. These core values are essential in guiding our students to exhibit exemplary behavior and strive for excellence in all their endeavors.
